This was a backup illustration when I was testing things out for a portrait I was lucky enough to draw for Lennyletter.com the other week, to accompany Mattie Khan’s interview with Florida Congresswoman and chair of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz. A lot of people seem pissed at Lenny for even giving DWS the time of day, but I found this interview to be very informative and enlightening, and would strongly recommend you read it (here) regardless of your political bent or current opinion of Ms. Schultz. You can also see the portrait they ended up using, ‘cause it wasn’t this one.
